Yet the infrastructure around them is still evolving. In some locations, finding an EV charger is simple. In others, a low battery can still mean a long detour, unexpected downtime or a vehicle waiting longer than it should.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This gap between EV adoption and reliable charging access is where much of our work at Mobec begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In FY26, we recorded approximately <strong>\u20b935 crore in revenue<\/strong>. It is a meaningful milestone for us, but the more important story lies behind the number. It reflects a growing demand for practical EV charging infrastructure, battery energy storage and responsible lithium-ion battery recycling across India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"What_If_Charging_Could_Reach_the_Vehicle\"><\/span>What If Charging Could Reach the Vehicle?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a long time, EV charging has followed one familiar model: a vehicle travels to a fixed charging station and remains there until it has enough power to continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fixed charging stations will remain essential as India\u2019s EV ecosystem expands. But mobility does not always happen according to a fixed plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An EV may run low on charge away from the nearest station. A fleet may need charging support at its own facility. A roadside assistance team may need to reach a stranded vehicle. A business may require temporary or movable charging before permanent infrastructure becomes practical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In such situations, the question is not simply, \u201cWhere is the nearest charger?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also, \u201cCan charging come to where the vehicle already is?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our portable and movable EV charging solutions are designed around this idea. By bringing power closer to the point of need, mobile charging can complement traditional charging stations and create a more flexible support network for electric vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For individual EV users, this can provide reassurance during an unexpected low-charge situation. For commercial fleets and mobility operators, it can help reduce operational delays and keep vehicles on the road for longer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across <strong>Noida, Delhi NCR and other growing EV markets in India<\/strong>, this kind of flexibility is becoming increasingly relevant as vehicle adoption expands faster than charging access in some areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Building_Energy_Solutions_Beyond_the_Road\"><\/span>Building Energy Solutions Beyond the Road<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The need for flexible power does not end with electric vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Homes, businesses, outdoor operations and commercial sites also require energy that can be stored and accessed when the grid is unavailable, when demand is high or when a conventional power source is not practical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is why our work extends into <strong>battery energy storage systems and portable power solutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Energy storage makes it possible to save power and use it later. It can support backup requirements during outages, help businesses manage energy more efficiently and provide power in locations where dependable grid access may be limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EV charging and energy storage may appear to serve different purposes, but they are connected by the same underlying need: energy should be available where and when people require it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As India moves towards <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mobec.io\/blog\/electric-mobility-in-india-mobec\/\">cleaner mobility <\/a>and more distributed energy systems, the ability to store and manage electricity will become just as important as the ability to generate it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Recovering_Value_from_Used_Batteries\"><\/span>Recovering Value from Used Batteries<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The growth of electric mobility also brings another important challenge: managing the rising number of lithium-ion batteries that will eventually reach the end of their usable life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even when a lithium-ion battery can no longer power an electric vehicle safely or efficiently, the materials inside it can still hold significant value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Mobec, our focus is on giving end-of-life lithium-ion batteries a responsible next step through recycling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Used batteries contain materials such as lithium, nickel, cobalt, copper and aluminium. Through structured recycling processes, these materials can be recovered and returned to the supply chain instead of being lost as waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The impact goes beyond reducing battery waste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As India\u2019s EV and energy storage markets expand, the demand for critical battery materials will continue to rise. Lithium-ion battery recycling can support domestic material recovery, reduce pressure on newly mined resources and strengthen India\u2019s circular battery economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A used battery may have reached the end of its performance, but not the end of its value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"The_Road_Ahead\"><\/span>The Road Ahead<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">India\u2019s EV ecosystem is now moving beyond adoption numbers towards the infrastructure, energy systems and recycling capacity needed to support long-term growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This shift is shaping the next phase of our work at Mobec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From portable and fixed EV charging to battery energy storage and lithium-ion battery recycling, our focus remains on solving practical challenges across the energy journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A vehicle that needs power.<br>A business that needs dependable energy.<br>A used battery that still contains valuable materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each requires a different solution, but together they point towards the same goal: a more flexible, reliable and responsible energy ecosystem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u20b935 crore FY26 milestone reflects the growing relevance of these solutions across India.
