This Return & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains how cancellations, returns, and refunds are handled for bookings and purchases made through mobec.io and the Mobec platform, operated by Mobec Innovation Private Limited ("Mobec Innovation Private Limited," "we," "us," or "our"). This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms & Conditions. By booking a Service or purchasing a product from us, you agree to this Policy.

Scope of This Policy

This Policy covers three categories of transactions:

• Portable EV charging session bookings (on-demand or scheduled).
• Purchases of energy storage systems (ESS) and related hardware, including the Gen Set and HomeZ product lines.
• Battery collection and recycling program submissions.

Cancelling a Portable Charging Booking

• You may cancel a scheduled charging session free of charge at any time before a Portable Charger has been dispatched to your location.
• If a Portable Charger has already been dispatched, a dispatch fee may apply to cover fuel, distance, and technician time. The applicable fee, if any, is shown at the time of cancellation on the Platform.
• Repeated last-minute cancellations or no-shows may result in a temporary restriction on booking privileges.
• If Mobec Innovation Private Limited cancels or is unable to fulfil a confirmed booking (e.g., due to vehicle incompatibility, unsafe access, or operational issues), you will not be charged, and any amount already collected will be refunded in full.

Charging Session Refunds

• If a charging session is interrupted or not completed due to a fault attributable to Mobec Innovation Private Limited or its equipment, you are entitled to a full or pro-rated refund for the undelivered charge.
• Refund requests for charging sessions must be raised within 48 hours of the session through the Platform or by contacting support.
• No refund will be issued where the interruption is caused by the Customer's vehicle, an inaccessible location, or circumstances outside Mobec Innovation Private Limited's control.

Returning ESS Products & Hardware

• Unopened and unused ESS products (including Gen Set and HomeZ units) may be returned within 7 days of delivery for a full refund, provided the original packaging, accessories, and proof of purchase are intact.
• Products that have been installed, used, or show signs of physical damage not caused by Mobec Innovation Private Limited are not eligible for return, but may be eligible for repair or replacement under the applicable product warranty.
• To initiate a return, contact support with your order number. We will arrange pickup or provide return instructions; return shipping costs for non-defective items may be borne by the Customer unless otherwise stated at checkout.
• Products found to be defective on delivery ("DOA" — dead on arrival) will be replaced or refunded at no cost to the Customer, provided the defect is reported within 24 hours of delivery.
• Custom-configured, installed, or commercial/bulk ESS orders may be subject to different return terms, which will be communicated in writing at the time of order confirmation.

Exceptions

Mobec Innovation Private Limited may, at its discretion, make exceptions to this Policy on a case-by-case basis, including in situations involving service outages, safety issues, or genuine hardship. Such exceptions do not create an obligation to extend the same treatment in future or unrelated cases.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or legal requirements. The updated Policy will be posted on mobec.io with a revised effective date, and material changes will be communicated where required by law. Continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
