Mobec, a start-up developing a portable EV charging solutions network, has recently introduced its franchise network across India. The company’s cutting-edge EV charging solution eliminates the requirement for investing in heavy charging infrastructure. It aims to offer its B2C EV vehicle users doorstep charging facilities, positioning itself as a portable EV charging on-demand solutions provider.
The company’s expansion strategy involves recruiting 100 franchise partners by the end of 2023, with the initial phase of the franchising plan focusing on extending the network’s reach across several major tier 1 cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Pune.

Mobec Innovations has developed a modular portable power bank called Mobec 3, the foundation of its franchise network. The stackable design of the power bank allows businesses to increase the total output capacity based on their specific needs, optimizing their EV fleets and streamlining operations. Mobec will provide franchise owners with software, web, app, branding, and backend support as part of its business model. The advanced technology infrastructure enables real-time monitoring and efficient operations, enhancing user satisfaction and establishing Mobec as a leader in EV charging solutions. The company aims to transform India’s EV charging landscape by driving electric vehicle adoption and contributing to a cleaner, greener future.
With monthly electric vehicle sales in India crossing 1.5 lakh units for the first time in May 2023, there is a growing need for more EV charging infrastructure. Mobec has already secured $1 million (Rs 8.18 crore) to cater to this rising demand and plans to create an interconnected regional hub of mobile EV charging units through its franchise model, forming an integral part of the more extensive Mobec Inter-city Charging services network across India.
